Virus TI Snow - is it worth it?

Alright, so I'm thinking of purchasing the Snow version of the Virus TI. I know that this thing can produce massive sound, and 4-Part Multitimbral should be enough.

I am just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this thing, and if it is worth buying this thing, or should I save for the higher models or something else?

I just got one like 2 weeks ago.

And all I can say is I consider the snow a gamble. It sounds great, very inspiring, but whether or not virus control is gonna work properly for you noone will know till the day it arrives at your house.

You will either be:

A) One of the people who deals with nothing but bugs since the day it comes and can't finish a single fuckn task on it orrr..

B) One of the fortunate people who is able to use virus control for what its advertised to do. (work)

Since your chances of falling into either group are fairly strong imo (theres both a lot of people who it doesn't work for and a lot of people it does work for) all I can say it theres only one way to find out, and make sure you save the reciept. =]

Thats honestly the best advice I can give you.

I love seeing advice being given by the guy who is still trying to figure out how to get audio out of his MIDI port.

I was looking at this baby already for couple of weeks and still don't know if this would be a smart buy.

You couldn't quite possibly be dumb enough to wanna start with me.

That problem was fixed the same day I posted it numnuts. Now lets try offering an answer related to the actual question in this thread, instead of whining/complaining about the person whos dick you obviously wanna suck.

Lol, Where's Digi when you need him, "Digi alert".

I have had a few of the virus's from C KC Indigo 1 & 2, KB, TI, and TI2 desktop (not that I had a chance to do anything constructive with them due to other shit going on) but personally save your money if your after the virus sound, I would suggest going with older models. Although all models vary slightly in sound and functionality they are practically the same, and you will find that the presets have hardly changed also from model to model.

IMHO, but forgive if incorrect. hope that helps.

fact is it can make your tune sound better if you can be arsed with all the bugs that come with it.
