I might go, if only to make sure all the island iced teas are long.

Somehow (but maybe I'm wrong) I don't see B&J as an act that can fill Opera on a Wednesday.

Amazingly... they did. It was a full house (not packed but full) from 11pm when I got there till 1:30amish.
They played a very nice set too... only on for 2 hours and change but they played deep trance the whole way through. Best ten bucks I've spent... Sander Van Doorn - Ninety & Binary Finary for the highlights of the night. Lots of stuff I couldn't ID as well.
I've got to ask, though, out of curiosity... Did most people enjoy the music? I was considering this until I heard about a dozen or so radio advertisements that Wednesday is now the big college night with 18+ clientele... and said naaaaah, maybe not.
That's awesome, though, if it was a success

Most everyone was into it - I didn't notice a huge age gap.. but I really don't look for that sort of thing. The more and more I think about it the set keep sticking in my head as one of the better sets I've seen in Atlanta (trance-wise..) They were also put on the lower tier instead of up in the VIP area.
The crowd was cleared out by about 2am or so which has been the norm there from what I've noticed. I'm just glad enough people showed up ~ If people really want more trance artist coming thru Atlanta then that's what is needed. Events like Cosmic Gate is just going to encourage artist not to book here.
