I watched part of the opening ceremonies in real-time, worked pretty well. They do it with PVR type features so you can pause or go backwards. Later around midnight in replay with lots of bandwidth it was excellent semi-HD quality, but real-time they didn't have quite enough bandwidth so it was not looking as sharp, but still surprisingly good, better than regular TV if not HD.
Then I wanted to watch the rest of the opening ceremonies about 12 hours later, I thought they would leave that video up but they seem to have removed it or made it hard to find. So presumably events will only be available real-time or for a few hours later.
There are a few 3-part torrents of the opening ceremonies available, last 2 parts are best.
