Last night I went to a local venue here in KC and saw a pre-show of the area 2 tour, in other words just Moby and Oakenfold at a small venue. The only reason I went was to see oakey, even though he was OPENING for moby, I figured screw it might as well see a half decent show (the party's in KC blow)
Oakey played a surprising good (but short) set with lots of old school tunes and alot of stuff off his new Bunkka CD, which I think is pretty straight, and all the songs he did play off Bunkka were at least remixed so eh good enough for me
Moby on the other hand SUCKS granted I didn't like his stuff before I went and saw him, but why would people pay to see this guy perform? half the time all he did was sing, HORRIBLY I might add, and the other half he either danced around the stage, or played on some bongo's I'm like WTF?! Highlight of his show was when they played the remix to 007 theme, which moby had no part off except to dance around and look old and bald sorry, but he sucks All in all though, a good time, if not alittle over priced

thats odd, i heard it was the other way around. Oakenfold sucked and Moby rocked, oh well to each his own i guess.
