That's an odd looking tracklist, but it might be interesting. Will try to give it a listen sometime this week and give you some pointers. Have you tried mixing on Traktor rather than on Ableton?

Word, thanks man.

Yeah, odd mix indeed but just a collection of tunes i like, not much structure really and no midi controller so its all automated but took me a long time!!

I've probably spent about 30 mins on Traktor...worth checking out for real?

yeah, that tracklist makes no sense whatsoever, no offense man.

i say the traktor/ableton debate is totally up to your personal preference. if you want a more traditional mixing approach, use traktor. if you plan on sampling heavily or mashing up multiple tracks on the fly, use ableton. :shrugs:

Any track list can make sense if you make it so!

I honestly feel like you guys are saying that about this mix just because of the first two tracks. Though # 5, admittedly, I am not familiar with at all. But I still do think that a good DJ can make a weird-looking TL work well.

Basically, what Omega said. I tried Ableton but couldn't really get into it, it doesn't feel right for me. I find the Traktor interface and overall "experience" much better. But that again, is just my personal opinion.

Nah, it just looks like it's all over the place genre-wise. On paper, of course. I'll have to listen to find out, though.

Bullshit.

How can you judge someone else's creative property?

Is there a rule book stating anywhere in it that it clearly states you can't mix that with this ??

It's obvious you've never seen Boy george play live
