Elderly Woman Robbed On Her Deathbed



Police are searching for two men they allege robbed an elderly woman, just moments before her death, in a Toronto hospital.

Two possible suspects were caught on security cameras at Toronto East General Hospital around 8pm Tuesday.

Authorities claim the pair searched floor to floor before they reached the palliative care unit. That’s when the suspects allegedly stole $7,000 worth of jewelry as a woman in her 70s lay unconscious in her bed. A published report suggests the patient’s family had just stepped away for a coffee when the alleged robbery happened.

The woman died as officers were taking the theft report from her family.


The suspects are described as:

•White
•20 to 30-years-old
•5'9"
•Short, dark brown hair

•White
•20 to 30-years-old
•Shaved head
•Wearing a fedora-style hat

It could have been only 1 or 2 pieces, and those pieces could have been things she wore every day.

Also $7000 may not be as enormous as it sounds if she had a massive collection at home.

exactly what im thinking.
when my sister was first admitted to the hospital one of the first things they told us was to not have any jewelry around. the most expensive item in her room was her macbook pro (which was already over two years old). she had even less stuff when they moved her to palliative care.

hahaha well they are our friends so its only normal for friends to hang out together. ive known those guys since high school.
