Hey guys, I finished my latest track a while ago and I'd like some serious reviews for it. Any suitable input will do. It's quite advanced but not professional work, so mastering isn't my thing. Also, I'm looking for a site/sites for good tutorials and tips. Haven't really done anything but produced on my own for about a year.

The intro's a tad boring to me, but once you introduce your synths the sounds blend well together.

I'm not sure on the whole percussion. The quick hitting element seems out of place to me.

One thing that struck me about the track is how I felt it blended into the ether. It's well put together, but I don't find it overly memorable. I can't find myself wanting to go back and listen to it again and again. I can't really say a specific thing though as to why.

I think its a very safe and well produced piece though.

Can't like everything 8). That's what I can certaintly relate to. My track was supposed to be very peaceful and not tense, so the energy and suspense level are below average. I did aim for something more "meaningful" or "profound". Kind of like "Sunny Lax - Blue Bird (Daniel Kandi Remix)", only with more rapid drum elements. Guess I failed in your case . Yes, the intro is lacking. I had serious trouble finding anything that makes sense, so it just introduces percussion.

Its not a bad listen.The intro percs are a deffo problem.Have you not got a an FX pack that you can take some FX out of and make an interesting buildup?

Also maybe intensify the breakdown.That pad is lovely.Sounds very similar to the pad used in Tillman Urmacher's On the run.Could use that along with a ping pong delayed lead?

Just ideas , but it does need a bit of work yet.

I actually only have Vengeance Essential packs. I've tried but can't get any ideas with those effects =(. I'm going to download some free samples soon and see what I can do.

You really need to pay for the best samples TBH , not much though.
£10 to £50 maximum is what I paid for mine.

I agree with the intro, but once all the different sounds came together it was really nice . I actually quite enjoyed it when the melody kicked in, it was really good.

Who are you exactly to come here and say these epicly moral questions in my hardest work thread so far? You're no saint yourself making me out to be something I'm not, a villain. You don't want to give any feedback, fine. Don't make it any bigger then that. A private message will do. We can fight there as much as you'd like. You could say those things you said in about 999999 other threads. Difference is that most people don't have the guts to give their opinion. I do not have an attitude. I do pay for stuff, just not for every single thing. If I were ready to produce music for labels, I would have paid for everything. What I said were truths in life. I know people who pay for absolutely everything and I do respect that. It just doesn't make you special, unless you really use the stuff for something important. So, basically, what you're saying is that you want me to take something you feel you have put a lot of work into, seriously, in spite of the fact that you don't take some of the software that you're using seriously enough to have actually paid for it with your own money. Those people put a lot more work into what you're using than you have using the stolen goods provided to you, yet you're clearly not taking them seriously so why should I take you seriously? Don't bother me with some vague promissory that you'll be good for the fees once you're signed to a label. I'm not signed to a label but I've paid for many of the DAW's and synths I'm using. I do use some freeware but I've not stolen anything.
