For those who have stayed at MGM grand before and got the PRIMA program
Since online sales for SHM are no longer being sold, i called MGM about any privileges into WET republic I would receive as a guest. I'm looking at booking a suite(Due to the fact that I'm so cheap) next weekend for Swedish house mafia and laid back luke/benny benassi even though neither of those two guys have any drawing power.(see edc after party thread and lbl sf thread) Concierge said NO privileges as guests UNLESS we completed the terms of their PRIMA program.
the deal goes something like this: book at MGM Grand and commit to spending $500 on top of your room cost - basically a credit on your room account. In return, you get all kinds of deals and special offers during your stay including 2-for-1 drinks, 2-for-1 entrees at restaurants, VIP check-in, a limo trip, club access etc.
Seeing that SHM tickets were up to about $70 after servicee fees, and meals, and drinks are going to be consumed, seems to make sense to just go prima and each guest should be able to spend $250 on meals, drinks, massages, shows etc.
Wanted to see if anyone on TA has done this and what their two cents are. Seems like a pretty good deal to me as long as you stick to attending most events on site and having meals in their restaurants which would be the case for us.

i've seen that offered but don't know anyone that has done it...
remember you'd have to get the suite for 2 nites to be able to use it for sunday (as you check out at 11am on sunday you can't get the credit/benefits after checkout so you have to stay sunday nite as well)... so you have to take that cost into account...

plan is 2 nights, saturday until monday so thats not a problem. im sure a lot of people would benefit from it, but dont care.
kinda like the people who buy individual tickets to disneyland 5 times a year when they would have been better off getting the annual pass.
Nero and crew can order drinks thru us if we have any trouble killing the credit.

If you guys do come up on any comp lists or whatever, a group of my friends (mostly girls but a few guys) missed out on tickets. I think they plan on getting a chair or in line ridiculously early...but let me know if there's a chance of adding them on! thank youuuuuu

I booked a table on the dancefloor. So the area left of the dancefloor (in front of the DJ's) for SHM.
$2,500 for up to 15 poeple. After tax/tip it will probably be $3,000. So if I get 15 people, it will be $200 a person.
I already have about 7 or 8 for sures and a bunch of maybe's
