Awesome night! Really good set by Ferry. Everything was beautiful! He played 2 songs between Shanti and Beautiful. Hopefully somebody can ID the track before Fire, that was a stormer...had funk and boom! Great combination! Only heard the last few songs of Randy, but I enjoyed them. His new remix of Sarah Mclaughlin, and then the last track had kind of a 80s feel/vocal to it, and was really good. Randy, some help with your last track please!
01. Pulse - Festival
02. Faithless ft. Dido - Feelin' Good (Ferry Fix)
03. Rank 1 & Jochen Miller vs. Yuri Kane - The Great Escape Right Back (Andy Moor Mashup)
04. Rafael Frost - We Were (from OUAN2)
05. Pulser pres. Luminal - Sunstorm (from OUAN2 and a massive track)
06. Ferry Corsten - Made of Love
07. ID - ID (OUAN2 most likely)
08. Pulse - Once
09. ID - ID (pitched down, very cool 90s EDM sound)
--power outage--
10. Ferry Corsten - Shanti
11. Tiesto - Kaleidoscope (Ferry Corsten Remix)
12. ID - ID (Will post video later)
13. Ferry Corsten - Beautiful
14. Tempo Giusto - Metropolitan(Alex O'Rion Remix)
15. Coldplay - The Scientist (Maarten de Jong Bootleg)
16. Ferry Corsten - Brainbox (Marlo Remix)
17. Ferry Corsten - Radio Crash
18. Urry Fefelove & Abramasi - Stay On The Way (from OUAN2 and the best track I have heard in 2010!)
19. ID - ID (something from OUAN2 with a heavy kick, at least 136bpm)
20. Encore: Ferry Corsten - Fire

wow Royale has lasers? or did ferry bring that on tour? |
Was really happy to see lasers in Boston. Hadnt seen them since back around 2001 when Oakenfold still rocked and came to Avalon. That was the last time I saw lasers at Avalon.

Def a great night out; Randy and Ferry both killed it. The only issue I had was that they weren't letting people in till 11 (doors are supposed to open 10) so i had to wait in line for a good 30-40 min. Oh ya, and there was some power failure that stopped the music. But Ferry handled that like a pro, you could see he was getting a bit anxious to get the problem solved but it wasn't a big deal. Other than that though, everything was great. Ferry's set was ridiculous, the big laser was nice treat. Royale/Roxy has had a tiny green laser at past events, but the one they got last night was proper (though it's no stellar design setup). Urry Fefelove & Abramasi - Stay On The Way and Coldplay - The Scientist (Maarten de Jong Bootleg) were the highlights of the night for moi, evereyone was going off when he dropped those. I'm glad he played a mixture of both QUAN, his own stuff and some new tracks not on the album.
Randy's set was nice too, though I cant remember too many tracks. Good to hear Ghost's N Stuff in the club, as well as some SHM track, maybe one? i cant remember. anyways, good opening set that got everyone going.
I wish I could go see him NYC tonight, he will bang shit out proper, esp if he gets to play for more than 2 hours.

yea, they kept everyone who got in early in the basement club until 10:45, which was complete bullshit.
for the lasers, i think it might have been randy's CT Lasers friends who brought it, but not sure.
i didn't really like randy's set because it isn't what he usually does, so going in expecting that wasn't a good idea. he did play SHM - One, as well as Wippenberg - Pong. not a big fan of deadmau5's newer stuff so i just spoke to some old friends that i found around the club.
really glad ferry came on at 12:00. maybe he read my twitter message about showing up early? haha
