as you said , the limiting with the rather wet reverb makes everything rather muddy. I would low-pass all the percussion a bit and let the synths have that air room.

I usualy high pass more than this, and thanks I'll take a look again.
The verb is big but I want it this way on this one. I had it automated to out of the way more but it didn't sound nright but I'll see how comments go.

have you thought about compressing the reverb ? That way it won't overtake the track when all the elements are in ? Or even side chain it with the kick. Right now it just feels like this heavy layer that doesn't really add much.

Yea, I can side chain it but I prefer to automate it's output level - same thing really. I can easily automate it so it sounds quieter.

very cool track. the mix doesnt sound that bad to me, compared to the last few i listened from you this is drastically better. sure i guess it gets busy, maybe someone with better monitors such as brad could help you zone it out.

My ears aren't technically geared, so I can't give criticism in that area.

This could easily be my favourite of yours so far. Lots of things happening to keep my interest pumping. I'll certainly be listening to this multiple times.

It reminds me a little of Art of Trance - Madagascar, with a hint of Underworld. Though definitely more modern sounding. Underworld are one of my favourite acts, so consider it a compliment.

Great vocal snippets, drums, FX and Piano. Truly enjoyed nearly everything I heard. I would've liked to hear a more interesting arrangement, but that's just me.

Owsey thanks but I genuinely think now listening back after a little break that the main lead and chorus bits sounds crackly and dull.

With Brad on the compressing the reverb, it makes it much easier to tame in the mix over all.
I would also consider rolling off the top end of the pad a little is it's a little to dominant over the lead sound that you have, this would help to place it a little further back in the mix.

As a question of personal taste I might also be inclined to try to separate the bassline from the kick a bit more by setting the attack on the duck a little shorter and perhaps just making the release a little longer, this would pump the bass a bit but would help the kick cut through the mix a bit more.

You could probably afford to roll off the bottom end of the mids to give them a bit of separation from the kick and bass and would give a bit more room in the mix. Doesn't have to be much though.

I think if you took a little off the bass bottom end you would have a track that had a bit more energy.

I usually find when I write I will opt to have the heaviest bass sound in either the kick or the bass not equally in both, otherwise the track can sound like it drags along a little.

My favourite part is actually towards the end when you have the kick and the bass plus percs and if I am honest I think that you have the base for a track that could have gone a completely different way. I still think your true potential lies elsewhere and remains to be fully realised. But you will get there.

I like the style. The pan flute-like lead synth is cool, and I really enjoy the slow pitch bending you've got going on. I enjoy the psychedelic intoxicating feeling your song gives me.

On the critisism side, I think the lighter percussion is too loud, and that the kick isn't very powerful. Maybe some rhythmical background arps could enhance the danciness and coolness even further? Along with the others, I also think it has good potential.
