I couldn't find the proper techno thread that was on here ages ago, and I thought this set deserved its own hype anyway.

I was lucky enough to see Surgeon live last saturday here in Sydney, and it frankly destroyed my brain

Seriously some of the best music I've heard in an age, and I go out every weekend, often 2-3 times. It was the first music I'd heard in ages that made me think there might be something to this dance music thing still, so I thought I'd post it up here for your enjoyment, so that the gospel of techno can be spread to all and sundry amen.

Does anyone have anthing similar to this thats been released recently? I've been looking for a good Techno podcast for a while in particular. I've come across the CLR one, but its not quite raw enough for me.

^^^ Wow, just downloaded a set and phwoar! Very similar to surgeon indeed. Maybe not quite as industrial but definately on the right track for what I want.

I think you should check out some Adam Beyer as well especially if you found Chris Liebig to be a little light. Not sure if Adam has a podcast but he does have some radio show online, can find some stuff on soundcloud as well. -
