Perfecto Presents Kenneth Thomas little preview ;)
Hey guys,
Dont post often anymore but always lurking when I have the time
Wanted to swing by and share something.
My debut album/compilation-hybrid, "Perfecto Presents Kenneth Thomas" is out Dec 15th and I made a little legal mashup to close out disc 2.
The original here, Kenneth Thomas & Chad Cisneros- Breakthrough (Oliver Smith Remix) was really well received across the board when it came out a year and a half ago so I wanted to include it on the project, but thought Id give it alittle update. In steps a new project I have been working on with Jaidene Veda, the vocals were in key with the remix and, for me, it felt magical. I feel it was a great emotional note to end the double album on.
Hope you guys enjoy the new take, look for the full extended version out alongside the album on Dec 15th.
Will dreams for ofelia be a part of this release? If not, will the track ever be released as a single? I've looked for it since Paul played it on his radio show but nevere been able to find it. Thanks.

Hey bro,
Per the back catalog, we are in the works on that. That is actually a big part of working with Armada right now. One of the main goals with them on board for next year is to get through the legal red tape that ties up a lot of the back catalog and get that stuff released along with new remixes. Stay tuned!
Btw, this just came out today, Pre-Orders for my 2xCD are now available: http://bit.ly/cvHePj
Enjoy!

Hi Kenneth. Figured I'd give my thoughts on this track.
I'll admit, at first I was a little bit concerned that I was going to be hearing a standard "8th note remix" in the style that became popular around 2 years ago, but that turned out to not be the case... was just a subtle piece of the track.
This track definitely has a nice "closing vibe" to it and I can see why you are finishing the album with it. While I don't much care for the sidechained supersaw-ish lead in the background (I don't do much hands-in-the-air trance these days), what I do like is the twinkly prog sounds (always a guilty pleasure of mine). The overall mix sounds great and the vocals definitely fit the track well. I like the chopped vocal bits as well.. they are nice and subtle. The outro was a nice touch, as well.
I can't help but want to make my own deeper prog-house remix of this, but I'm sure that's just a matter of taste.
While I don't listen to much trance these days, I can still appreciate a good trancer. I wouldn't call this groundbreaking, but it seems like it would be the perfect end track to a KT compilation. Kudos.

Good stuff dude.
This track would fit in well to an 04 prog trance set. Not everyones favorite period of trance music but one of mine.
