I've had a pair of Sony MDR 7506 headphones for about 2 years and all of a sudden I am only getting sound out of one ear...?

What might you have done to have broken them?

Might be something as simple as the jack needing to be replaced to something as simple as a blown driver.

Have your tested them on multiple devices to ensure it is indeed the phones?

P.S.: Don't throw your headphones against the wall in frustration. It breaks them. Trust.

Yeah it is the headphones. Inititally thought it was traktor but unfortuntely it wasnt. I did pull the cord pretty hard by accident about an hour before I noticed that one ear wasnt working.

Can I take these somewhere to have them fixed? If so, where (in Toronto)?

Bay/Bloor Radio is probably your best bet. You can also check in with Lee at Moog, though I'm not sure whether he does headphones or not.

the beauty of these headphones is they're really easy to fix if something breaks, contact your local authorized sony repair shop, if you can't find one or don't know where to look, go into your local sony store and ask, they'll point you in the right direction

If you know some stuff about wires you could so it yourself. My 7506's jack died after a while of pretty heavy use, so basically just went to a Radio Shack and bought a new jack with a nice silver housing. You just have to check which wires go to which connection on the jack (tip/ring/sleeve) and solder them on. It was easy but if you don't have a good knowledge of electric stuff it might be a tad difficult.

any audio store would probably diagnose it for cheap

get some other phones :O
