i was a big fan of BCML back in the day .. so naturally, i'm a bit interested in this one. their solo productions tend to feature that unique dark and twisted techno/house sound, yet always seem to fall short somewhere. maybe i am being a harsh critic comparing a sonic accomplishment like Speedcats to some random solo single (i can't even remember one!). that being said, i wasn't expecting much from this release.. but.. from what i have heard it sounds great! total departure from their old sound, but just as interesting and more fitting for today's current music scene.
