>>Beggining DJ setup<< 2 gemini CDJ-20's and Gemini BPM-150!! JA: Sony Hphns, Amp

This is the perfect setup for a starting DJ, there are two gemini CDJ-20's, and a Gemini BPM-150 mixer, that tells you the beatcount on it!

*if you have reaaaaaaaaaal high resolution you can see it good =D*

:::Heres the specs:::

The CDJ-20 is packed with the popular DJ features. With a large jog wheel, digital outputs, pitch bend and built-in forward/reverse stutter effects, this player is a serious tool in the hands of any DJ.

CDJ-20 Features:
10 to 40 seconds anti-shock memory to keep the music playing if bumped
Large jog wheel with forward and reverse stutter
Direct access to track or cue points
Digital outputs
Pitch bend
+/- 16 Pitch Change
Quick Starts
Size: 9.75"l x 8.5"w x 3.25"d. Wt. 5 lbs.

Heh very nice mixer =D //only one scratch/etc.. that is the little gray part on the lift high has come off.. all it does is indicate where it is... I dont even need it though.. you can get a 'feel' for where it is... perhaps it comes after a couple days/weeks of use =), but there is a definite feel to it... and when I'm mixing in the dark.. I cant see it anways so no big deal =D

BPM-150 Features:
3 line, 3 phono and 1 mic input
Crossfader curve and reverse
BPM displays
Beat offset indicators
EQ and gain on both channels
Cut switches and punch in buttons on each channel
Mic EQ / talkover
Master and record output channels
Size: 6.5"w x 12.5"d x 4"h. Wt. 8 lbs. KL-1 Features: 2 stereo channels
2 phono/line convertible inputs
Kill feature for low, mid and high frequencies
Operates on channel inputs or master outputs
Punch out buttons on each channel
19" rack mountable

Soooooo..... I bought thiese in november, and they have been lightly used... very very very good condition... I must sell them because I need to get some new climbing gear, heheh :P

please make a bid... and yes there is a reserve in my mind but the setup goes on pssl.com -ON SALE- for 200 per cdj unit, and 120 for the mixer... (520$ US) brand new =D I am willing to beat that price =)

PS: I live in Washington Sate, USA ... to anywhere in the US 18 pounds to ship is around 25-30$... international may become difficult =) just wanted to keep that in mind

PPS: It will come with all the needed cords =) and orignial Gemini information

I am going to add my Sony MV-700 dj headphones (retail $120) and a reciever/amplifier to the package =)... you do not have to buy them.. but if you would like... I would look at adding the headphones for cheap, and the reciever as well ... :P

The sound quality is still incredible, but the swivels are breaking ( often occurance in the mv700's, and very easy to replace) , I would value them around 65$

hmm... well... first of all on the note.. that I want to sell my stuff you would be correct *reason* I need a coat... why do I need a coat..?? because I am a climber... now lets think... Carl's climbing at an altitude of oh say 14 thousand feet, maybe even 20 thousand feet.. now say Carl has shitty gear.... oh okay Carl will die.... I am selling my DJ stuff for the sole purpose of being able to buy good gear on the mountain, because that is the only real way to stay alive up there..... now YOU are sitting here on your computer thinking your fucking cool, saying that MY dj setup is some kinda pussy setup, and that real dj's only use 1200's....

now I'm sitting here thinking..... where the fuck are you from... have YOU ever tried using the cdj-20's.... hmm no probably not.. because if you had.. you would know that they aren't shit... (and yes I have used 1200's) they have digital ouputs, and not only do they play hella good quality sound.. it is all on CD.. now how does cd make sense VS vinyl...?? well... you can go onto TA, download the newest sounds that haven't even been released to the public on vinyl, and you got yourself some shit to spin. For a begginer it also makes sense to have cd's as not to dive into using vinyl/tts and wasting a SHITload of $$. On the terms of the mixer, the mixer too is good quality, no distortions, nothing of any negative sound quality... perfect sound... it also has EQ's (somthing any DJ should have) and a beatmatcher... very helpfull to a beggining DJ. All of my gear is in good quality, and the sound quality is superb... now people have a choice I guess.. and that is to follow our friend excelcon GT.. and buy vinyl, blow all your cash.. just so he "thinks you are cool".... -OR- break that fucking cycle of vinyl vinyl vinyl.. and just run with the cdj's... in the long run they are muhc cheaper, because 2 1200's will run you 800$... 300$ more than this entire set... it will also run you through another 800$ for vinyl.. while you can get the same in 8$ of cds -- you make the choice -- fight technology or live with it... but excelcongt dont come into my thread and call my gear shit... fuck you.. get a life... to furthur matters... even if you anted to become a vinyl DJ, the mixer has the full capabilities of adding two more turntable's, and you could have all four hooked in at the same time... now that would be sick =P

I am trying to sell my DJ gear with honesty and good judgement... but at the same time.. the quicker I can sell it.. the happier the people of the transaction will be, for they can get the gear, and I can afford my coat.. and therefore be able to climb more difficult things... I feel I am selling the gear in a professional matter.. and wicked rude comments.. are not wanted

thankyou

Can you elaborate more on the condition of the headphones? How bad is the cracking and how easy is it to repair?

yes.. the crack... here I can draw a picture =)

in red I marked the hairline cracks, and in the blue, I marked the philips head screws that you uncsrew to replace the piece -- they are built for djs, they know that pieces like those will eventually wear out, so it is very very easy to replace (I'm assuming any major dj vendor should have the replacement pieces) or you can goto sony.com and contact them

the cracking is definitley not dehabilitating, I still use them for djing, and they are excellent headphones

I did some research.. and there are authorized dealers to fix the pieces

check it out by going here

http://www.sel.sony.com/service/plsql/rma.inquiry

type in model
MDR-V700DJ

and your zip code at hte bottom, and you can find stores that are close to you for fixing it
