Thanks man, but Im not sure how practical it is to give away traktor, then buy the s4, since its designed for it, I mean, whats the point of disabling myself? Also, I dont see the advantage in throwing away money on some beginner mixer. All its gonna do is soften the learning curve, then I'll have to buy a better controller if I actually want to start spinning, so that seems like I'd be throwing away money to learn easier. I think I'm gonna take the learning curve and put myself in a much better position to actually be able to go out and spin at clubs once I've got the hang of the s4, as opposed to having to learn so intro level mixer, then buy an s4, learn that, then have a shot at going somewhere.
I was actually hoping someone could give me more of a reviewer's perspective on the s4 and traktor, anyone? |
The S4 is made for Traktor, it works great. If you can afford it, go for it. Even if you don't like it you can sell it for nearly what you paid. I've played on it a bit and it really is a great setup.
We aren't suggesting you "throw out traktor", more that you either return it or sell it, then buy the S4, which INCLUDES TRAKTOR PRO 2 in the box. Why pay for the software twice?
