***DANNY THE WILD CHILD - DANCE FLOOR DRUM&BASS/CHICAGO, ILLINOIS***

Danny the Wildchild aka Daniel Garcia was born on the South side of Chicago in 1977. The brother of a once aspiring DJ, he keenly watched and quickly learned the tricks of the trade. Danny began djing at age nine soon surpassing his brother's abilities and eventually inherited his equipment and records. At twelve, Danny entered a Chicago area contest for young DJ's and won. He took home that fifty-dollar prize and was called "The Wildchild" from that day forward. Although Danny's roots were as a Hip-Hop DJ, he was eventually introduced into the Chicago Rave scene and to the world of drum-n-bass. He enjoyed this new form of music, but also loved hip-hop and began to creatively blend the two genres creating a unique sound of his own. As Danny's turntable talents grew, he began to incorporate scratching and DMC style battle tricks into his Drum-n-Bass sets. His precise mixing skills and unique style and sound gave him the opportunity to bring Drum-n-Bass into the DMC and Hip-Hop scenes. Danny's recognition has earned him a collection of praises from domestic and international magazines such as Mixer, Thousand Words, Faqt, and Lotus to name just a few. Danny was also featured as one of the people making waves in the scene in Urb's Next 100 Artists to Watch Issue. Today Danny has become one of the most valued U.S. Drum-n-Bass DJ's. His unique blends of jungle and Hip-Hop beats and amazing scratching and beat juggling have proved to be show stopping. His talents have brought him to perform in venues worldwide and opening up for such acts as Eminem, Method Man, The Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Moby, Goldie, MixMaster Mike and The Pharcyde. Danny also toured extensively throughout Europe with DJ Q-bert in 2002 (see djqbert.com). Although most weekends he is on the road, he still has time to host the 12midnight slot on Chicago's Alternative Radio station Q101FM and is gotten back in the studio. In March, the Wildchild released a follow-up to his 1999 12" release on Bad Boy Bill's Canvas label. His first effort at mix CD culminated in the release of "Danny The Wildchild: Booked" (March 2001). The Wildchild's was the first in a series of "Booked" CD's from Chicago's Strictly Hype Recordings. This was followed by the successful release of his latest CD in 2002 on Surge Recordings entitled "Fully Sorted".

***PHANTOM 45 - DRUM&BASS/CHICAGO ILLINOIS***

Phantom 45, a Chicago native and drum n’ bass icon has been and continues to be the gateway through which many enter the world of Drum and Bass. Phantom has seen the world change and plays the rhythm of this transformation every weekend with his brand of smokin’ Jungle/Drum-n-Bass. Influenced by U.K. producers such as DJ Hype, Andy C. and the entire moving Shadow label, Phantom 45 began to forge a new way of presenting this musical movement in the U.S. as far back as 1991. His understanding of Breakbeats, House music and Rave culture increased his demand as a touring DJ, landing him the Chicago Krush Rinse Tour with Danny the Wildchild and Dr. Groo in 2000 and The Fully Sorted Tour in 2002! As he sees it he’s “just playing the tunes people need to hear” speaks volumes, for he spins what he feels – nothing more..nothing less.

In 2001 Phantom embarked on a mixed CD project for Strictly Hype Recordings entitled. “Booked 003”. Booked was a series dedicated to the life of the performer. The DJ that stands apart, pushing the envelope of music with his or her sets…with their music. The travelers, the artists, making their way across continents from airports to hotels and back again.

In 2002, Phantom followed up with another outstanding mix CD compilation, “Fully Sorted” on Surge Recordings.

The Phantom continues to rock the clubs in 2003 and is planning to hit the studio soon to give the people another musical masterpiece.

***For those who don't know, Phantom 45 has been on a hiatus doing his thing in Chicago, and has decided to bust out the vinyl and show these button-pushing DJs how shit is done. After years of running things in Illinois, and not being actively involved in taking out of state/country bookings so that he could put his focus into other projects, this Drum & Bass legend has chosen to make Detroit his place to shine and once again show this city some love. This will be a very special appearance and night for not only Phantom 45, but for all of us in Detroit as well (and those coming in from out of state for that matter). Whether it's 2001, or 2011, this pioneer is always on top of his game and is now prepared to help take the sync DJ's finger off of the button, lay down some fresh wax, and take us all for a ride Drum & Bass style.***

***networkEDM - House/Electro House/Tech House/Breaks/Progressive House/COLUMBUS OHIO***

Bryan Keller and Matt Cremean have been EDM fans for years but only recently decided to take their enthusiasm to the next level. The Tech / Progressive / Electro house DJ duo are always scouring the airwaves for fresh new, and old, tracks. They have a diverse and adaptive style depending on crowd and locale that spans from the funkiest Tech House to the most in-your-face Electro bangers. The fact that their musical tastes are similar, yet different make for a uniquely dynamic chemistry. They are constantly finding different tracks to bring to the table, but always vibe off one another's choices.

These guys have taken the stage with many well known local and national artists including: Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, Eliot Lipp, Digiraatii, Samples, and Roevy.

These boys are in it for the fun; for the music. If the crowd is happy, they are happy.

CYBERNETIK R3VOLT (SERAX/LACERATION SELEKTA) - DUBSTEP/DRUMSTEP/DETROIT

In the beginning there was Detroit Techno and now there is Dubstep. Jason “Serax” Richards has been throwin down behind the decks since 98’ but formally moved onto the Dubstep scene in 2007 and has been hooked ever since. It’s not the same two-step either but hard-hitting baselines and dirty beats that dominate his tracks.

Born and raised in Detroit and a self-taught DJ, Serax had the early influences of Jeff Mills and Mark Moss. His original mix was the “jump up style” of drum and bass but he quickly moved to harder beats and fell in love with the Reggae and Ragga DNB style. His Dubstep influences include Caspa, Rusko, Excision, Borgore, Datsik, Bar 9, Skream, 16 bit, Emalkay, MRK1, Reso, Ill Gates and Mistabishi.

Serax has played venues spanning the United States, spinning alongside the likes of Rusko, Borgore, Datsik,AK1200, Dieselboy, ODI, Freaky Flow, Aphrodite and Juan Atkins to name a few. Some as Motor Lounge, St. Andrew's, Alvins (D'Jungle), Clutch Cargo's, Velvet Lounge, Solar at Blind pig in Ann Arbor, Bassline Monday's @ Necto, The labyrinth below city club, The Works, The Packard plant, Bleu, Foran's, 10 Critics, Oslo and many more. That’s in addition to residency stints and various after-hour venues in Detroit and Ann Arbor.

After a brief hiatus, Serax is back on the scene with the same “wobble swagga” as before, delivering pure bass pleasure and killin’ it for dubsteppers and drum and bass junkies alike
