I purchased fab filter volcano 2 a few months ago but didnt start using it until a few days ago, I now know the difference between an average filter and a good one. Its sounds great, really smooth and loads of options, im so glad I bought it. I recommend it.

Volcano2 and FilterFreak are my go-tos and I highly recommend either. Tone2 FilterBank3 and Veangeance Philta XL are both worth checkin out as well and have some very good modulation capabilities, but Philta does use a dongle, f that's an issue for you. I have WOW, but I wouldn't recommend it over any of these.

If you're looking for something simpler/cheaper and don't need a lot of modulation options, FabFilter Simplon is an excellent choice - same filters as those in Volcano2 packaged in a more basic plugin.

Tone2 Filterbank 3 comes to mind, but if you are looking for a simple, yet awesome filter for a quick job, check out the Sonalksis TBK. I love it.

...like the other before: Volcano does always a great job.

I'm probably going to get Volcano along with the Pro bundle when I have the money for it.

I think Cytomic have a new one coming out, could be worth checking but no idea if its gonna be in AU format.....
