The melodies are put together very well and the drum work is pretty awesome, I like the break beat. In the beginning of the track I here a closed high hat running on like every beat through out the bars its being played in, I don't know if you took that out when the beat comes in or if its just getting buried in the mix. The bass line works well, but it seems a bit muddy. There could be some more tension or energy building up to bring in the beat when it first hits, I find a useful way to do that is to automate a filter to slowly cut all the low freq's until it nearly sounds just like white noise and the drop back in all the low ends at a given point. The pads/textures you are using could evolve more and make a fluid progression into the second part after that breakdown around 3min, to keep the track moving and evolving. Keep progressing those elements! Very awesome work though dude. I Really the sounds you use. You sure make them work nicely together. Keep me posted !

The melody is good. The mixing could be better.
It actually reminds me a little of Vangelis. Somthing about the melody.

Thank you for your feedback guys. Appreciate it. Will keep you posted on further changes. I forgot to mention that this was just a skeletal structure for the track, which i created experimenting with sounds in a hour.I randomly added FX just to see how the flow goes.

Has a decent Vangelis feel to this, which I think is the sounds your choosing which work very well.
Tension could be enhanced with dynamic changes such as going to almost silence in a break and then it all whooshing up and getting loud like an orchestra does. The trick though is making it still be part of one coherent track as opposed to a track with a random film score wedged into the middle!
I can't really take this track a part lol, has so many nice emements, parts but doesn't let me fully engage in emotional journey. The best advice I could give you is to listen few tracks from my favorite group "Dancing Fantasy" and see how the sound and melody evolve in their productions. Not bad at all so far man, good luck with it.
Cheers,
Darek

Hey there, great to see you getting some cool tracks down. My import for adding more tension and excitement would be to have shorter intro then hold onto the same chord note, let it build, then move into the chord progression you have there.. nice chilled sound you have there.
