However, under audio setup in preferences, should the Traktor S2 be listed under audio device? Whenever I turn the S2 on, it switches from ASIO to that. Also, what should be listed under the built-in soundcard? Right now it says ASIO4ALL v2. I changed a few settings when I was trying to figure out the CPU problem and was wondering if they need to be changed to something else. Sorry if these seem like stupid questions. I'm really new to this. Thanks again for all the help. |
Yes, the S2 should be listed under audio device, because that's what you are routing all sound through.
Regarding built-in soundcard; I'm pretty sure that's just a failsafe sp if the S2 crashes for some reason you'll still get sound, i dunno. If you're other soundcard is built-in crap then asio4all will work, or you can select just the soundcard itself. I don't really think it matters as I don't think it uses it in any way, but maybe the non-asio4all choice there, if it's "borrowing" power or anything from it. I dunno, would love to hear someone else's view on this.
