I have adaptec easy cd creator version 3.5c
It seems to only read 21-, 63-, and 74-minute sizes. I have cd's which are 80 minutes. Eveytime I use and 80 minute one and try to obtain 80 minutes worth of music it says overtime by about 6 miuntes. And the cd-rom will just open and the recording will be cnacelled. Is there a program out there that can read 80 minute cd's without saying overtime. Unless there is a way to confgure my program to reading 80 minute cd's. Any help would be appreciated.

get nero!

nero can burn over 74 minutes for 80 minute CDs (it can even overburn, if your burner supports it!)... that adaptec 3.5 program is really old by now and never supported writing over 74 minutes...

goto www.ahead.de is nero's homepage

Basically EZ Seedy Creator is attrocious for making CD's, but it's good if you want to start up a Coaster Factory. As mentioned by "goodnet" get Nero, and start burning CD's without buffer underuns or any other restrictions

Ummm... no offence... exactly how is Nero "badly designed"?

I know many people who use it, and it works perfectly for them. Never crashes, burns nearly all CD formats, intuitive interface, and lets you control every aspect of burn process.
I haven't tried out roxy easy cd creator 5 yet... but without a doubt, id say Nero is very well designed.

Cool

Don't forget that there's gonna be a table of contents written to the disk as well.Although it doesn't take up a lot of space, it does use some. What kind of burner are you using? Some of the older ones have trouble with the 80 minute CDs. Also, some of the older players have trouble with them too.
