[REVIEW] Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Euphonic)

Brief Background
Sun Decade is an alias of Ronki Speed. Ronki Speed is the artist behind the wonderful remix to Sonorous's Glass Garden. If you haven't heard Glass Garden (Ronki Speed Mix), it's a must.

Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Ronki Speed Mix) Rating: 10/10
In the beginning he sets the tone with an infectiously catchy melody leaving me to wonder where else can he take this. Then a female vocal cuts through the melody taking us into a breakdown of contrasting beauty and sadness. I stopped whatever I was doing when I first heard this. The trip from uplifting to sad only made what’s to come all the more explosive. Like his remix of Glass Garden, Ronki Speed shows us a creative way to use female vocals without having lyrics. I absolutely adore this track and it’s an absolute must for any trance fan. Play this track if you want attention because you will certainly turn heads. Play this track loud.

Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Mirco de Govia Dub) Rating: 10/10
Mirco de Govia has already a huge fan base. ‘Epic Monolith’, ‘Things that Matter’ and his remix of Ralphie B's ‘Massive’ reminds us of his artistry. After hearing his version of I'm Alone, I have joined them. By far my favorite MdG track, the track begins with MdG style melodies... Then the track just builds and builds with new elements and at the end it forms a euphoric polyphony. This is definitely MdG’s best remix to date. Those who aren’t fans, will be. Those who are, will have their resolve solidified. I can not wait for Mirco de Govia's vocal mix.

Overrall, top quality record. No b-side fillers here. Your toughest decision is which mix to pick! And remember... it's ok to play them both in your set.

A big thanks to Ralph Kyau and Euphonic. The vinyl [EUPHONIC22.3] is scheduled for release late September to early October. Check their website, http://www.euphonic.de for the latest release date news.

one word for this track Euphoric. u know a track is simply amazing when it has everyone encapsulated for months and months. I don't even think Second Sun- Empire drew this much attention and we waited for that track almost a year.

Must...have...vocal mix...uughhhh

Seriously, the Mirco de Govia vocal simply blows me away. It's already on my list of top tracks.

Work like this gives me hope that trance still has new musical directions to take on the path ahead.
