I think 2 things are important:
- don't try to deliver a master 
- everything that's already in, can't be taken out anymore.
On the other hand a track is your vision, so I don't want to tell you how to mix. Just remind that mixing and committing plugins is a one-way street. When the street is overcrowded, I don't have means to reverse that proces.

- I prefer no clippers or saturators or anything software that tries to mimic analogue on the masterbus
- I would try to aim for a mixdown that can be done without severe clipping with a limiter on zero. the odd limiter kicking in at 1dB or so is fine, but when it's like 2,3,4dB all the time, the mix is too loud. |
