Hi Guys,

I've been working with a couple of producers the last few years and it seems some of them just don't know a thing about chords / keys whish in my opinion are required for creating huge trance tunes.

Explaining a chord theory is quite difficult to someone who lacks this knowledge.

So together with a programmer I created an android application which made this really easy. Select a base key and the app will guide you through the basic chords.

"Easy Chords Studio" is available on google play / Apple App store store.

cthulhu if you don't know your way around the piano.. I find it easier just to find out what notes go with what notes.. aka.. chords.. but if you must have help.. this is pre-loaded with a lot of Bach Chorales and within those.. there are some pretty nifty progressions..

really though.. start with one note in your piano roll. make it a 1/4 note.. then find the next note.. make it a 1/4 note.. then the next, and then the next.. only one note, not a chord.. Then go back to the first note and find one that sounds good with it, then do the same thing on the 2nd 3rd and 4th. Then.. the third note on each one.. and if you really want a full range of sound, create a chord with 4 notes.. It'll help you learn chord progressions plus it'll be yours not Cthulhu's..
