Tonearm Weight

i was curious what you guys set your tonearm weight at most of the time. i have it on very lite right now, like at 1.25, maybe 1.5.

I have my ortfons at 1.5 and they do not skip of the record...it was only once when I was back cueing excessively.....

This was when I was at the club spinning, next song was about to end and was about to start the other song....found my spot in about 5 sec..........

For practicing, keep the weight as light as possible while still being able to move the record back and forth over a beat without the needle skiping. This will save your records. In front of a crowd you want more weight to insure that the needle doesn't jump.
