yesterday i was in the elevator and a guy i dont know tells me, "can i give you some advice for your hair?" I thought he'd tell me to stop using gel but instead he says, "take egg yolk and onion and rub it through your hair once in a while." I asked him why and he replied because my hair is thin and it needs to be fed, just like my body, otherwise it will fall out and i may become bald later on. It's true that my hair is very thin and my scalp could be seen when i put on gel, but should i really heed his absurd advice?!

go get yourself some hair thickening shampoo, yes it does exist.

i actuall have friends who did this... the egg will give you protein which is what the hair will really absorb and become stronger... and shinier aparently. ive never heard of onion.... i thinik mayonaise deoes someething too but i donno. i think the main point is whether or not you are happy with your hair. if you are then dont deal with it becuase that stuff is nasty and i hear that the egg smell doesnt come out of your hair for a while. if you really need volum or somthing... i guess try it if you get really bored. id just settle for volumizing shampoo though : )

rub shit on your face, that way people wont notice all the crap that you put in your hair in the first place.

You can because that will work to thiken your hair.
I had a friend a girl who's mother always used to do that to her when she was younger. But the Girl rebelled becuase she didn't like the smell, so she stopped doing it.

Well, basically the Yolk does supply the scalp with nutrients directly though the skin. The onion however dries up your skin, in case you have clogged pores, it cleans it and removes any oil (thus the drying part).

hmm...if you really want to take precautions....do it. it won't hurt, only benifit... you can always find a solution for the odor...
Or, you can try shaving/cutting/trimming ? your hair really short, not to the point of baldness, but a tad less... i konw that cutting your hair really short help to strengthen and thicken hair....
