Uncle Montana "Bass Thuds, Sharp Hats & Liquid Noise" (20160316)
I've toyed around with the idea of making this kind of mix for a long time and I've thrown in bits of bass & club-music in previous mixes where the focus was more on house & techno but for this one it's the sole focus.
This type of club music has partly been a big chunk of the soundtrack of the weekend nights with parties from of the Staycore crew for example but I wanted to do my take for all of it and also sneak in some of the tracks that has gotten little to no play due to obscurity or other dj's personal taste
What also interested me was to do this one was the concept of a linear mix as if I'm playing random tracks and just banging it out in the one of the clubs of Stockholm and while there is some of that element most of this was of course planned in advance with some spur of the moment additions.
Also, I don't expect any kind of listening or comments as I haven't been active here for a while but I figured I might as well post it here either how. But I'm thankful for all of that.
