ya what a show!!! definitly one of the best ones if not the best i've been to in texas. the venue was awsome, huge huge dancefloor and a statdium like seating arrangment farther away from the stage (cool ass sight from there). the fixtures were nice - they had a nice glowing cloth pyrmamid thing and a cool human statue made up from the gridding used to prop the lights, had a cool glow to it too. they had tons of those expenisve 360 degree turning lighting so it added a great atmosphere. the DJ's were awsome. Jeremy Dawson was good as said here although i didnt like the first half of his set... when he got to the more trancey stuff it was AWSOME, finally some stuff to get emotions up and the crowd moving. Scott Bond was superb although one of the turntables was giving him problems, power and sounds quality wise. Dave Aude was good on some of the tracks... most the house songs lacked something for me, but then agian i am more of an olav basoski fan anyways. then PvD, OMG this guy was out of this world. way better then the set he did one year ago in houston. his mixing was flawless and song selection was phenominal, though a bit 'hard'. and i too almost pissed my pants when he played Artic/Nothing But You, that song has some serious ownage power. i felt so privaleged by the end cause he played, born slipper, for an angel, his remix of carrera 2 (which i had never heard before) and then he gave an encore, that in itself is awsome cause i've heard paul does it only to 'deserving' crowds. anyways awsome night. i would like to see many more events like these happen here in texas!
