anyone have a go with this synth? took it for a test run at a shop for about 30minutes and had a blast. The faders felt cheap as hell, the sound was a bit thin but they didnt have any patch cables for me to go in deeper. The appregiator is good for happy accidents, and I could really see myself using this in tracks easily. very much enjoyed.

You might prefer the Minibrute 2S with a proper sequencer, although the 'normal' version would be cool too. A lot of features for the money.

You might like the upcoming Dreadbox Polyend too. More money, but Dreadbox sounds killer.

So yea the 2S is superior except for the happy accidents I engaged in with the 8 timesig arp over the 4 in the 2s.(sort of). I dunno maybe arturia will add in the functionality to the 2s overtime or some shit.

You could take the best of both worlds and run an external sequencer into the 2, there are plenty of cheap options about that get you away from mouse usage. Arturia's own Beatstep/Pro seems an obvious choice, especially if you end up (which you probably will) getting another CV capable mono synth down the line.
