So i was sick of dragging and dropping more than once and i couldnt find any other program as specific as i wanted, so i wrote a little perl script that converts .m3u generated playlists from winamp (version 2.8 or something) into .cue sheets for cdr-win.

its not perfect or very flexible (you need to save the playlist in c:\ so the full directory name is saved in the playlist) but it works really well for the specific job i wrote it for.

i'm not a programmer (i'm a medical student actually and a dj after that), but eventually a friend of mine who is going to tell me how to convert it to an exe to run command line in ms-dos. or if someone has a server, it can be converted to a cgi script and it can do it online whenever needed..

That's pretty cool. good job....but i usually don't use playlists that often....but i'm SURE alot of people will find this usefull!


edit: but can't you compile it and have it as an .exe! cuz i don't know how to use a .pl file...
