What pairs of headphones go best with trance?

I'm looking for some headphones that go very well for trance specifically.

Something that can make even old 90s tracks sound fresh and high quality. What would you guys recommend?

Cocomelon preschool headphones work really well for children's music such as 90s trance

Are you looking for production headphones, or general listening headphones? If the former, make sure you get a set with flat audio (like Sennheiser 650s), as you don't want to be producing tracks on cans that artificially boost low ends.

If the latter, however, holy cow, but do the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 3 Wireless I recently got ever boost music with amazing clarity. Even dusty old '90s tracks sound 4K in these suckers!

/yes, I'm a Sennheiser slut, I thought we already went over this

Off-topic non-contribution: I can't believe you actually did a full ATB dive.

LOL

Yeah, when I discovered he'd been releasing music right up to modern times, I was genuinely curious how that would sound, when 95% of clubland only knows him as "that slide-guitar Balearic guy".

22 years ago it seemed as if there were two entirely different sides to him - the slide guitar for the money and fame, and seemingly serious stuff like his remix of Rank 1 - Airwave.

No, I was as serious as Gabriel was when he startled the shite out of Mary telling her she got one up the spout and it wasn't Joseph's.

But I didn't say serious in the eyes and ears of music connoisseurs like your good self.

ATB was capable of 'serious' music - all those surprisingly decent chill-out CD2s in his catalogue show as such. But, y'know, such music don't bring in the dolla'-dolla' bills, y0'.
