well from what I noticed DJ's don't like to share "needles"  Oh my that sounded really bad, like they are all crack whores! well most Dj's from what I know bring their own carts with them most of the times!
But most of the times it's top of the line Stanton's or Ortofon's from my experience.
And yes the more top of the line the carts are usually the better, but not always the case.
