should the post padding room be deleted???

some of the mods have been nagging me over this post padding room, so I figured I would leave it up to you guys, should it stay or should it go??? is it really used for post count or do people actually enjoy reading it and use it over aim??? let me know here

i think it is good cause it keeps the crap out of the forum.
