In windows open up the mixer, Options -> Properties -> Recording
There should be Wave, "What You Hear", MIDI, CD-Audio etc.....
Select the source, from one of the above
Eg: Wave if you want to record from a game
Eg: "What you Hear" (If you have it) if nothing else workd
Eg: Cd-Audio to record from a CD in your CD-Rom Drive
Then Hit Record in SF.
You can alo go "Remote" with the SF Transport Bar to record in other apps.
