john said the first half of their set was good. i'll give my review on sunday (if i get near a computer).

ARGGG I didnt want to have to right a review in my condition but i guess ill try. Well before Hybrid I went on a date and got a bit drunk. So bye the time we arrived at Centro I wasn't in the mood to dance whatsoever. Well hybrid started with really good progressive stuff that warmed my legs up for about 30 minutes. Then comes on the next Hybrid dude. He opened with a track that me and tom actually new.A real techy break beat track. Well from track one till the middle of his set they were laying it down with Dark breaks then hinted into trance.Every time i would hear some background SYNTHS i started to smile. Then Hybrid would notice me smiling and Kill it with breaks lol. But about an hour into it i heard the progression of breaks into Dark dark vocals then TRANCE!> WOOT WOOT WOOT! He layed it down raw.He droped this dark ass vocal with breaky trance in it.I was feeling it alot and I wasnt on anything. I just had a few drinks. Centro actually had a tight vibe in the front where we were. Alot of hardcore Hyrbid fans were chilling with us who were really cool. Well Heers what happened during the second part.Im sitting in the back room bar and I hear this Im going down DOWN to La LA LAND.... I cant WAIT TO SEE YOU IN >>>>>>>> LA LA LANDD....... WTF, that killed what ever vibe there was in that place and in come all the guidos that were hiding in the back room. One dude is like this to me.......Oh shit oh shit bro yooyoyo there playing the Factory song. THey all run out and try and bust a move heheheheh it was funny to watch. Made me Smile

Hybrid was decent. The club was a little less than half full so the vibe wasn't really there. Centrofly's sound system rocks, but their light show really sucks. I thought the music was good. It was exactly what I was expecting. Not the best show ever but something different from prog and trance. There were about 3 or 4 songs that really got me moving the first hour. The second hour was just some slow boring breaks. For example, there is good hard trance and slow chessy trance, there is also good hard breaks and cheesy slow breaks. The second hour consisted of these cheesy slow breaks. Not sure what happened after that cause me & John left after LA LA LAND.

hehe... you weren't there the night danny broke out the OLD skool breaks... that was something else.

Going to go see Hybrid tonight @ Axis in Boston, MA. Hope to see a good show tonight! Judging by them being in Axis, I guess they're not expecting a big crowd because they usually put the main show in Avalon, not the smaller Axis, which is right next door.

Ugh, not what I was expecting at all. Because Hybrid was differed to the smaller Axis (next door to Avalon), the quality was far worse. There is no lights show there, just spot lights and strobes, which in my opinion, don't create such great an atmosphere. The crowd was tiny, less than half full and Hybrid's track selection was not exactly... stellar. Again they dropped that stupid La La Land song and then some crappy cheesy breaks after that. A few songs were interesting... but he also played some weird remix of "Ready Steady Go". Makes me wonder if they switch their style for American audiences... Oh yeah, only the blond, medium height, skinny guy spinned, the other guy didn't even come on. Although I think had he been in Avalon, he would have created a much better atmosphere, cause he looks like he'd be a good DJ as he claps and throws his arms in the air along with the crowd.
