Remix of sandstorm, maybe?

Hi, I realise this is going to be tough to ID without a sample, but I might as well give it a go anyway.
I'm looking for a track that has a few notes in common with Darude's Sandstorm....i've given these notes in the sample (I'm talking about the melody notes in the piercing synth sound, not the background notes or chord changes). The difference is that in this unknown track the notes are deeper, lower pitched and much rougher sounding.

The other key thing is that instead of breaking into the 'sandstorm' tune, this track breaks into something completely different...it breaks into a broken-chord melody sequence with dutch-style synths. The sandstorm tune is never heard in this track.

So I'm not sure if its a Sandstorm remix or not. If you think you know what it is, please get back to me!

nice try...matches my description well but i'm afraid its not this track. Sunseeker is too similar to Sandstorm....the one I'm looking for is quite different but does share a few notes in common but with different synths.

I can't download your song right now since I'm in the library, but I remember being at a school dance and someone thought this song they were playing was a remix of sandstorm but it turned out to be Laut Sprecher - Omnibus, which uses apparently the exact same synth sound. If your song has no lyrics maybe there's a remix of this I don't know about... hope you find your song!
