I liked what you did with the "half" melody there... its not exactly the same but then again, what remixes are for
only problem IMO is that it sounds too "simple"...
you need to make it more jumpy, more full, add some pads, stabs, even percussion...
goodluck finishing it.

well it depends on you...
and what style you want it to be... I believe you are going to the Uplifting side...
so try to build up from the beginning of the tune, start with beats, build the beats up, as the track continiues, add some pads/melody stabs so the listeners will have an idea that this is a remix...
or, you could just build up the beat through the track, then come to a break down and then start with the pads/stabs/melodies...
the whole point i'm trying to make is that when a listener clicks "play" on his winamp to hear your track... he gets "dry" and moves it foward to see if it gets any better...
you must think of ways to keep the listener's attention by adding cool beats, FX... ever supride breaks...
hope i helped...

Shahar,
I've made an example for you of how the remix should atract the listener's attention...
i've worked on it for 3 hours so don't expect much
but I think that if you'll hear it, you will get my drift and see what I mean...

hope you understand what I ment by hearing this...
