MIDI keyboards are now available in a few different versions, e.g.
- The older ones that are externally powered and connect via MIDI cable
- The newer ones that connect to your computer by USB
If you're working only on your computer then consider option two, but if you want to send MIDI directly to your groove box without your computer being on then go with option one. Post back with your thoughts and people will make recommendations. In the meantime, check www.m-audio.com and check their MIDI keyboards.

I'm working with my pc indeed. But I' still got to learn a lot. For the moment I can only work with my groovebox. As soon as I get more time i'll start with cubase and reason(if my version work).
I planned to buy myself the midi keyboard to use with reason and my groovebox.A groovebox in fact is not made to connect to cubase,it works yes ,but it's not very functional if you use it in that way. So i think i'll make samples with the groovebox, record them with wavelab and than paste them into cubase.
