All Waves plugins have a very transparent sound and are favoured by many as being some of the best sounding plugs on the market. Correspondingly they are quite heavy on the wallet, and not too light on the CPU either (although they've made some steps forward in that area in the last couple of revisions).

You might want to check out Waves Renaissance compressor too.

I'm looking for a good plug-in compressor, like Waves C1 etc., does anybody have any suggestions?
