Behringer make a lot of Studio equipment. FX, mixing desks, etc. Their entry into the dj mixer market was terrible. I was unfortunate enough to be one of the poor saps who purchased a Behringer mixer, the DX-500. The on-board sampler was useless, the eq's did nothing and to top it off, the thing blead. You could have the cross fader all the way to channel 3, volume faders for channel 2 all the way down and the line selector for channel 2 set to "line in" and you could still hear the turntable playing on channel 2.
Safe-to-say, they don't sell these anymore. Although I have only heard good things about their newer mixers, so I take it they have gotten their act together. They seem like very affordable pieces of equipment.
