DJ Dam just got back from a trip to Hong Kong and picked up a shitload of great tunes from http://www.saikosounds.com
He will tear up the Kathedral for a full 7 hour set. Come hear him spin and watch his fingers bleed.

Yowza! DJ Dam for 7 hours!!Those of you who like psy-trance (or would like to know more about it) should not miss out on this guy.He single-handedly turned me on to psy trance with his pitch black, twisted sets on 1groove.com when it was up,and I am still eternally grateful to him for that.DJ Dam is quality, and 7 hours of him will rock!Do not miss this unique opportunity to experience some of the finest psy trance out there!
Sweet! now that darkrave is officially posted on the forum, hopefully at least a dozen TA's will come.

Anybody going to this?
I've always loved psy-trance (ala. Astral Projection, etc) and would find it interesting to see the crowd at one of these events (just tell me what to wear so i don't look like a monkey)....
Dark Dirty Tech Tribal. | Hands in air (trance) and feet on the floor (house).

I went to the previous darkrave (mar 1). It was awesome! Downstairs (big bob) they played some dark techno which didn't seem to attract much of the crowd. The party was upstairs. This time they're promising somethning good downstairs too.
They spinned some GOOD music - besides psytrance and goa, there was lotsa hard progressive trance, and some heavy techno. The variety was great (they even had trance covers on Sweet Dreams, Thunder (AC/DC) and some other stuff which I can't remember). Overall the music was HARD and very energetic - no cheese and no "I can't live withough you baby" type of vocals.
You should expect lots of gothic ppl wearing black clothes/makeup. In order to "dissolve" and light up the place, us [newbies] should perhaps wear somethning contrary to the majority. Pink or baby-blue sound just right. If you have sparkles - dump them all in your hair. Flower ribbons, and "hearts on the cheek" will be great on girls too.
Another great thing about the place is that [unlike in any other venue] they give you stapms on your hand so that you can enter/exit/drinkyourownboozeinthecar/smokeup anytime.

19+, and they actually carded us (but 2 girls who went with us and were underage still got in using the id of the 3-rd one who was actually 19 hehe :happy2
OK this pneumonia bullshit seems to be for real.
First it's all over the news, then Toronto somehow ends up in the middle of this mess (146 infected, 8 dead), PVD cancells the show, I see people with masks on their faces... DAMNIT, now I'm freaking out myself and don't know whether to go to darkrave or not. I guess a gassmask would be the best outfit.
