Internet isn't working!

I know I know, how did he write this post then??? I'm over at my g/f's house so I'm using hers. Anyways, I have cable/roadrunner and for some reason it just stops and no page will come up. Its done this before and I fixed it, but I can't seem to remember what to do. Can anyone help me? I'm getting frustrated!:(

There could be many reasons for this.
One reason that it happened to me, was i had fooked tcp, ip settings, and i had to delete thema nd reinstal them. Something windows does automatically.
I take it yr on something like ME or 98. This is a good way of sorting it out. So go into yr connections settings, delete them, and reinstal them :D
Otherwise for 56k users its usually just a d/c and reconnect job. But yr on cable, so yr isp maybe playing up. If you can still download or use msn then it maybe internet explorer, so updating to 6 may help. Or again uninstalling andreinstalling.
Windows has a nasty habbit of messing up after about 6 months, especially 98 and ME. Anyway hope that helps.
If you still cant fix it, back everything up, and format yr hard drive and reinstal windows :D |
