| reason, fruityloops, cubase, sonar, logic audio, orion platinum, etc. etc. are all plenty good enough programs to make music with. try them all out if you have the time and find out which one suits you the best. |

Fruity & Reason are your best bets, Also make sure you have lots o patience (and I mean LOADS !!)
as for Fruity sounding cheesy... well I don't use it myself but I have heard some of the stuff you can do with it and I must dissagree. |

| jus got fruityloops...and i cant do anythin with it...i cant figure this damn thing out...LMAo...also when i preview songs that were pre-made...they start soundin fuzzy...i've used eJay for some time now but it really doesnt allow too much creativity... |

The best thing to do is to sit down for hours on end, pissing about. Its the only way to learn, worked for me :) Although i wouldent touch fruityloops with a barge pole (only my personal opinion) |

since what i'm going to do is use terms that you wont klnow yet, i suggest that you head over to www.fruityloops.com, and get the "getting started" manual. The odf has a problem, so get the zipped word document.
Basically, it explains EVERY basic function with screenshots, and easy to understand language. It covers everything, so it's great for n00bs to fruity, enjoy ;) |
