I'm thinkin CD mixing...due to the fact that I have an extensive collection of CD's but no vinyl...
Anyways what Should I look to get to start myself up with? Some good but not something that will kill my wallet... |

first question you want to ask yourself...
is this a hobby-type ting?
or are you going to be djing for cash
i dj with a moble dj company, so cd's are the way to go for me, mainly cause all of our music is on cd
but if you're just wanting to start out and learn before playing anywhere, then go with vynil
start buying vynil now, and pick up a set of used decks... |

| it will start as a hobbie but I plan on playing small local gigs...once I become decent...seeing how I live in farm town usa and there are no good dj's here. :( |

then start buying vynil now
like i said, cd decks are mainly for those who really need to use them... mobile dj's...
but it sounds like you're not really in it because of a job requirement, so i'd go with the tables if i were you... they're cheaper in most cases, and you learn more from them |

For me...
Tables are a lot more fun. CD's lack a certain element of surprise that spinning vinyl gives. Call me an old-timer...but vinyls kick ass.

You could better use the tables it will give you a rush when you spin those wheels.
Itīs much better than CD-mixing.
Maybe the sound isnīt so good as those digital cdīs but vinyl has that special sound and thatīs an awesome sound
