Atmosphere Makes the Music

notice how some songs sound so much better in clubs then at home or in the car??
i first noticed this when i saw ferry @ kool haus.
he played punk (original mix)
i hate that song, i really do, i almost deleted it off my HD, i love ferry , but cannot stand that song it's so damn annoying
btu hearing it live i was disappointed at first but then couldn't stop dancing? i guess it was the atmosphere and the way i was feeling, maybe it was sped up, but i ing loved it.
also when i saw mauro @ system he dropped Coldfunk, and i went crazy never hearing this remix of clocks b4. listening to it off a liveset. not the same, don't really like what he did to the track too much, but hear it on a huge system, maybe a little stoned and DAMN it's a good track??
u guys feel the same about any songs? |

..i used to love knights of the jaguar (cuz this is the first track i ever heard and loved..first party) jeff mills played it 29.6.2001.. that was the night i started listening to tekkno .. :rolleyes:
..i haven't heard that track in about 10months or so, and i hope someone drops it soon, but i doubt that cuz it's kinda old.. :( |

atmosphere dosent just make a song imho.
atmosphere is everything. wintergalactic and state had the best atmosphere i can remember, especially state. most memorable party for me.
if people are being jerks, bumping in to you, doing lines on the dancefloor, trying to steal your glowsticks, dripping gino sweat all over you youre not gonna care who the is dj'ing. it could be jesus behind the decks it wouldnt matter.
but hell, if people are friendly, the sound is good and you get a smile from someone. you'll have a great time. even if its me up there spinning.... not music... i'd just spin in circles yelling. |

That tune is some serious NU SKOOL breaks !!! I wish all breaks were like that !!! |
