I just want to let you guys know that I will not be attending this party. Firstly, I have two major exams on monday the 21st, so I need all the studying time I can get. Secondly and more importantly, I am really disappointed with the layout of this party. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love AVB, but I just don't care to see any other of the DJs playing that night, (Mark O is an exception, but he is spinning from 10-11, WTF)!!! I don't want to sound ignorant, but I don't know any of the other DJs playing, and I just hate the sounds of Steve Lawler. Why can't they pair Mark O with AVB at the Guv. and please all the prog heads by keeping all the other prog DJs at the Kool Haus. A similar situtaion to this occured at Ultra Spin, but at least I had Mark O at the Guv to seek refuge, until Corsten came on at Kool Haus. Frankly, all these prog DJs just put me to sleep (again, this is just my personal opinion so I don't want any flame wars).
For the ones that are going, have fun, and I'll see you all at the next great TRANCE party.

i respect that. some ppl enjoy both prog and trance, other ppl like events like these b/c teh diffrent types of dj's satisfy many members of the group and everyone can more or less stay in the same room together. i for one, think that it's great..altho i would prefer lawler and avb to switch set times.

I heard Numb had some, but it would be wise to call them first. In my timeslot update thread, I informed that they had pulled all the tickets out of the stores to make more money at the door.
(Gold Club are a bunch of losers and did the samething for the World of DnB and the Tiesto event) |

mission accomplished: got my tix .. ! plus 2 for Endlesswave and HardcoreTrancer .. so we'll be there no doubt ! luckily some girl at the ticketmaster outlet was trying to sell 2 of hers for $30 so i kinda lucked out! :D

A lot of the time you can attribute that to Guvt the club and not Goldclub for pulling the tix early. Guvernment is the one that stands to make the extra $$ at the door. Goldclub's already got their investment in through their branding and marketing of their product at the event.
Either way, sucks that the pull them out of the stores early. |
