I knew I heard a new Ronski Speed production in that mix! Sweet, I was right! Yeah, that Aly and Fila song was awesome, it was great! Umm, do you remember when Proceed was dropped? I was expecting to hear it but I guess I missed it, I guess songs sound different on a home system than they do in the club, hehe. I've also yet to be able to identify Marco V - del.mp3, I suppose it was thrown along with the tantrum of other hard beats, probably after he did those experimental beats? We'll see... :)
Oh yeah, I got to meet Ferry too! I was SOOOO stoked! He's such a nice and down to earth guy, he's very approachable and friendly too! Class guy! |

i decided to go last minute seeing as i actually got comped to this damn nite from guy himself! but got there around 12:20, stood in line for an 1+ hr in the freezing rain and decided to bounce since i had only planned to hear guy anyway. seen ferry a coupla times so wasn't really planning on hearing him again. But from what it seems, i shoulda stayed. :( :( :(
thanks to ricky for offering to let me and my gf cut tho, i shoulda jumped in with you, but i was waiting for a friend so...yea. in retrospect, it would've made my whole nite for the better if i jumped in. *sigh.....

Got in the club after waiting for almost 2 hours on line in the rain and cold. They should have been handing out stickers that say "SUCKER" on the line so we all could tape that to our foreheads. Finally made it in the club around 2:30 Guy was on the decks already and throwing down some good stuff. It was awesome when he dropped Underworld - Born Slippy!! and he also dropped Kid Vicious - Proceed!!!
And now for the main event. Ferry was just awesome. I liked this set better than the Roxy one. The first 2 tracks for his encore were awesome, anyone know them?

| hey guys. ferry is so dope. def my favorite dj. nice meetin you guys at the meet up and at the club. also great how me and arnold were the only TAs from the meet up that made it in to the club before 2:30. we were waiting for you guys for about 2 hours. anyway, nice meetin arnold, rick, taso, nube, missy, i think it was alex (the one who me and taso were 'digital punking') and, of course, bri. also, arnold, sorry after all that, i just bounced without saying goodbye, but you were no where to be found.:toothless see all of you at tiesto. |
