| i'm just curious since i don't post in the poltical forum that often. but in everyone's own respects.. overall, do you consider yourself to be more left or ring wing regarding any sort of policy in general? |

I have so many mixed oppinons on different things so I find it kinda hard to put a label on my self but I guess I'm more right then left. |

| this is all more than just a little relative. every country has their own opinions of what left and right are. some countries identify a center leaning, religious leanings, et al. so while it may be true for you, just because one person is left and another is as well- doesnt necessarily mean they both have similar beliefs. | |

My doctrine is that of freedom, a notion neither the left nor the right seem particularly fond of lately.
The left have shown they will tolerate tyrrany abroad, while the right seem to advocate tyrrany at home. What manner of man would I be, if I identified with either of these factions? A tyrant, I say. |

The left don't necessarily oppose getting rid of tyranny abroad, but they do oppose war as a means of doing it. If I recall correctly, it was Cheney who said the US army shouldn't play peacemaker but rather protect the citizens of the United States. This is in line with the conservative ideology. I, on the other hand, as a leftist, believe the army should play both roles (although peacemaker should be only in extreme cases where all possibilities for peace have been accounted for). |
