What's wrong with For An Angel? I'd be quite happy to hear a great "oldie" like that. Just like I loved how Ferry dropped Out of the Blue and Tenshi last month at the Guv.
Just because a song may be old and you've heard it a few dozen times....does not mean it sucks or should not be played. For An Angel, Gouryella, Kamaya Painters, etc are all classic ing tracks and it's good to hear them once in awhile and on a great sound system. That said, keep the oldies limited. Armin dropped For An Angel, Cloudwalking and Seven Cities at the Guv for Labour of Love and everybody ing loved it....me included. |

i agree, i love it when oldies are dropped. It brings back memories..and not to mention there are a lot better older tracks than new ones! |

i think u misunderstood me .. For An Angel is my all time favourite track.. the fact that he's dropping it on his Global DVD tour and he's not gonna be playing here is why i was disappointed. Last time I saw PVD was 2 years ago at Warehouse and he never dropped it. When he came back he did as an encore but I missed that show. I'm just afraid that if he does end up coming back sometime this summer he might not drop it. Dunno when i'd ever be able to see him drop that track live.. :( |

Well, the way you worded it.....I thought you were bitching that he was dropping old tracks. Sooooooo many people on here and other trance forums bitch, whine, complain and bitch some more about certain Dj's dropping "older" tunes. Like Armin at Labour of Love for example....lots of older tunes but I loved it...others in here did not. It's true that there are a lot better tracks from the 98-2001 era than recent tracks. Half the that people say is the trance of 2002-2003 doesn't sound like trance to me. Whatever happened to the emotions in trance.....I thought that was what it was all about? I guess that's why I'm aniticipating Nyana from Tiesto (I haven't heard more than half those tracks on the 2 cd's) and the new Insigma and Pulser singles, etc. |

| I personally hope he doesn't play For an Angel when I hear him in MTL on thursday. There is sooo much new awesome Trance right now that I'd rather hear him play instead. He'll probably spin "For a revolt" though, which is a bootleg of Marco V's "Revolt" and "For an angel" - What a great combination ! |
