| what was that track he played (during the harder part of his set) with the guy vocals that was like "whose up, whose up, whose up, whose up a meadow" or something sounding like that. I'm sure its not those actual words haha. |

Wow!!! What a night... I missed Ferry Corsten over the last several months and I am so happy I drove all the way to DC to see him. First person I bumped into was Amit (as always).
Overall, I went absolutely nuts to Ligaya and Tenshi and what was that tune that definitely was Ferry Corsten's kinda sounded a bit like Ligaya?? Was it "Spaceman"?
Overall - it was a sick set. Shame we got there 1 hour late - I thought we was starting at 2... :(
Anywho - he did trainwreck one but he recovered so gracefully and for a man with such a charisma - Ferry can trainwreck all he wants. All he did was shrug his shoulders and had that look "Oops, I ed up, oh well - party on" - it was just waaay ing cool. I don't care what the rest of the pundits will say but I absoulutely loved the humility with which he treated it.... Hehehe... anyway - see ya all at PvD. Remember your last lesson - get there early or face the possibility that you won't get in, even if you have the ticket.
Peace y'all! ;) |

he actually didnt trainwreck. the record he was mixing out of had a huge scratch in it that he didnt notice till it was too late, it was rather funny to watch him just cut his loses and move on though. An inexperienced dj would try and try to recover. Point is that Ferry took it with some humor and kept on smiling. Another quality night @ Glow

| yeah it was just a big old scratch in the record....totally not his fault at all. im glad that everybody realizes that. people that sit there and go """ohhhh ....the dj just wrecked""" those people really piss my off. happens and the music goes on. its awsome to see a dj like ferry recover so quickly from something like that and he did it with a smile. most djs would have gotten all worked up over it. im just glad nobody in the forums bashed him for that...i thought for sure thats the first thing that came up about sat night....glad it wasnt.:) |

Scratch? I thought it was dust on the needle.... lol.
I'm glad I could make it to this event. It's always nice 'go home' and see all the East coast TA's, the staff at Glow, my friends who shuttle me around when I'm in town without a car, and even some of the club's regulars. Of course, it's always a pleasure to see Ferry, who aside from being an amazing DJ, is one of THE nicest DJ's out there.
I couldn't believe he dropped "Street Carnival" and went on a techno bender from there! Never seen him do that before! Last nite's performance made up for the crappy time I had the last time he was in Toronto. Mmmmmm..... "Purple Haze" by Mesh. That was yummy.
Pics will be posted on www.trance365.com and www.clubglow.com

That was due to the Guv's bouncers, and their horrible attempts to control traffic flow. They put me in a piss-ass mood, and it only got worse from there. Chain reaction of negativity around me that nite. I also think things got to me so bad cuz I'd gone to see Johan the nite b4 and had the absolute best time, and didn't get much sleep in between. Normally a lack of sleep doesn't bother me but that nite I was CRANKY.
This past month, it seems like the only time I get to sleep is on the flights between my destinations. Between my rigorous clubbing schedule and my internet addiction, there's no time for sleep. BTW- I'm going to get fired- I keep oversleeping cuz of it. You might as well all place bets as to what day it's gonna happen, cuz I can guarantee it. |

Were you the one with the 2 little pigtails in your hair and the sunglasses on?
And you were with 2 other guys i think? If so, i think i was standin near you. Didn't meet ya unfortunately, but maybe next time =). Ferry did play a great set. It was just perfect timing when he started bringing in the hard part of his set. My legs died out, but i couldn't stop dancing hahah.
Can't wait till he comes back. And also can't wait for the DVD!!!! |
